Requesting an IDAC

IDACs enable access to NEXTDC facilities and in data centres. You can request a Permanent IDAC when you request an induction.

To request an IDAC:

  1. Open your User Profile by clicking the Person icon in the Main Menu and then selecting My Profile.
  2. ONEDC shows the IDAC information in the IDAC Details
  3. Click Request IDAC.
  4. Select the applicable facility.
  5. Click Next to continue.
  6. Enter the requested IDAC commencement date.
  7. Click Save to continue
  8. Add the Inductees. You can add yourself, search for existing contacts or Add a new contact.
  9. Click Next to continue.
  10. Review the summary information and accept the Conditions.
  11. Click Submit to submit the IDAC request or click Cancel to quit without saving.
  12. ONEDC submits the request to NEXTDC to action and shows a confirmation message.
  13. Click Okay to acknowledge the message. You can review the request via the All Requests
  14. NEXTDC notifies each user via email when the IDAC is ready for collection.

NEXTDC provides an initial allocation of complementary IDACs for each customer. Additional IDACs are available at a small monthly charge which is shown ONEDC when you request an IDAC.
