Requesting an induction


  1. Open your User Profile by clicking the Person icon in the Main Menu and select My Profile.
  2. Click Request Induction.
  3. Select the Facility and click Next.
  4. ONEDC pre-populates your information from the user profile.
  5. Add any other inductees if required
  6. You can optionally request a permanent IDAC by clicking Request Permanent IDAC. If a user does not have a permanent IDAC they can still access the facility with appropriate permissions via a guest IDAC. This is commonly the case for contractors working on Customer racks.
  7. Click Next.
    ONEDC will validate the inductions and show an error message if the user has already been inducted.
  8. Click Okay to acknowledge the message.
  9. NEXTDC staff will processes the request and send an email to the inductees containing a link to the induction course.

NOTE: Customer online inductions expire if the user does not action the auto-generated refresher course email from Altora and the users IDAC will be disabled until the course has been completed. To re-gain entry, users can attend the Front of House and request an online induction renewal link from a Customer Service Representative (CSR).

The Inductions area shows your requested, completed and expired inductions.
