Booking a delivery or pickup
Deliveries and pickups are subject to delivery rules and packing requirements. You can also request Remote Hands assistance as part of the delivery or pickup request.
To book a delivery or pickup:
- Select Requests » New Request.
- In the Quick Bookings area, click the Delivery

NOTE: ONEDC updates the Stepper based on the selected options. For example, if the delivery/pickup requires Remote Hands, ONEDC adds a Remote Hands task: - Complete the information:

Delivery Details
Select the delivery receipt/dispatch mode:
- If a courier will manage the delivery/collection, select Courier will handle inbound or outbound delivery (storage at NEXTDC facility required):
If selected, select how the delivery will be collected/dispatched (e.g. Required for a Remote Hands request or nominate authorised handlers).
- If you will manage the delivery (i.e. storage at NEXTDC facility is not required), select I will handle receipt/dispatch of goods myself.
The Collection/Dispatch area (optional) appears if the Delivery Details area has Courier will handle inbound or outbound delivery (storage at NEXTDC facility required) set.
Use the calendar to select the Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time.
Optionally enter the Special Delivery Instructions.
NOTE: If the delivery/pickup is part of a Remote Hands request, ONEDC prompts you to enter Remote Hands information.
For pickup: you must pack and label goods (as specified in Packing requirements) and arrange collection for all goods.

Loading Dock Usage
NEXTDC has the following loading dock requirements:
- Vehicles must be removed from the loading dock area immediately following loading or unloading of goods.
- You must unpack goods in the designated unpacking area and place rubbish and empty pallets in the rubbish disposal room.
- Unpacked goods must be moved into a pre-booked staging room or taken through the security portal to the data centre and directly to your racks or suite.
Nominate Handlers
Handlers are representatives you authorise to collect / dispatch goods and are responsible for loading and unloading goods
You can search for existing contacts in your tenancy, or you can add yourself as the handler.
Nominated handlers appear on the booking:
Deliveries can be:
- Courier handled – where the delivery will be stored at NEXTDC until it is collected by the courier, or
- Customer handled – where the customer will personally manage the receipt/dispatch of goods.
For Remote Hands deliveries, complete the Remote Hands information.
If the request will be courier-handled, ONEDC prompts you to enter the courier information.
Delivery reference
Reference number provided by courier.
- If a courier will manage the delivery/collection, select Courier will handle inbound or outbound delivery (storage at NEXTDC facility required):
- ONEDC shows a summary of the request and pre-commits a ticket number for your request such as NXT0461004. The ticket ID can be used to search for updates or when contacting NEXTDC.
- Within a single ticket, multiple requests may be present (e.g. one request for the delivery booking and a separate request for the Remote Hands assistance).
- Check the information is correct and review the applicable Conditions.
- Click Submit to submit the request or click Cancel to quit without saving.
- ONEDC confirms your request was successfully created. You may click the link to directly access the request.
- Click Okay to acknowledge the message.
- NEXTDC staff will action the request and provide updates via the ticket number. You can review the request via My Requests. You will be notified via email when goods are deceived, collected, pickup is overdue.
