Showing and managing IDACs

Use ONEDC to:

  • Deactivate an IDAC
  • Report a faulty IDAC
  • Report a lost IDAC, or
  • Make a permission enquiry

To show/manage your IDAC:

  1. In the Main Menu select your User Profile via the Person Icon and select My Profile.
  2. The IDAC Details shows your IDAC information.
  3. Click Manage IDAC.
  4. Select the Enquiry Type:

    Deactivate IDAC

    NEXTDC offers two options for deactivation:

    • Full deactivation – where the user has left the company and no longer requires access to the data centre or the ONEDC portal, or
    • Partial deactivation – where the user no longer requires access to the data centre, but will retain access to the ONEDC portal.

    Enter the reason for deactivation.

    Use the Calendar to select the Deactivation Date

    (Optional) Enter a Deactivation Message if required.

    Report a Faulty IDAC

    User has issues using the IDAC.

     

    Report a Lost IDAC

    User has lost or misplaced the IDAC.

    Make an IDAC Permission Enquiry

    The IDAC does not provide access to the required racks.

    Add a Message and select the IDAC.
  5. Select the IDAC Holders. You can add yourself or search for an existing contact.
  6. Click Next to continue or click Cancel to quit without saving.
  7. ONEDC shows a summary of the request. Confirm the information and accept the Conditions.
  8. Click Submit to submit the request or click Cancel to quit without saving.
  9. ONEDC submits the request and shows a confirmation message.
  10. Click Okay to acknowledge the message.
  11. NEXTDC staff will action the request and provide updates via the ticket number. You can review the request via My Requests.
