Adding a device to a rack in rack visualisation

ONEDC provides tools to add devices to your rack for better infrastructure management and visualisation.

To install a device in a rack:

1. Click Manage racks or select the rack location and click to add:
2. Click to select the rack slot.
3. Select the type of device to install:
   

   Existing device	Existing template
   Select the device from the list. Click Save to use the selected device or click Cancel to quit without saving.	Enter the Device Label and select the Device Template. Enter the additional device information.

4. Click Save to add the device or click Cancel to quit without saving.
5. ONEDC adds the rack to the rack visualisation:
   
   NOTE: After adding a powered device, you can create and manage power connections for the device to a power rail.
6. You can now manage the rack.
